North Brunswick boasts a convenient location in central New Jersey with easy access to golf courses and restaurants. Restaurant choices in the North Brunswick area range from pubs to fine dining. Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, known for its golf courses designed by Charles Banks and Hal Purdy, is a popular restaurant destination. Sir John's in North Brunswick is situated on a romantic lakeside setting, and the Frog and the Peach in New Brunswick is noted for its culinary excellence.

Forsgate Country Club, once a central New Jersey dairy farm, is now a world-class golf facility offering catering halls for weddings and parties and a fine-dining restaurant. The formal dining room menu features fish, seafood, chicken and USDA prime beef. A lavish Sunday brunch is presented in the dining room, with carving stations and a wide array of breakfast and luncheon selections. Sir John's restaurant on Farrington Lake in North Brunswick offers American and Italian fare, including seafood and vegetarian dishes. The Frog and the Peach

The Frog and the Peach restaurant in nearby New Brunswick is well known in the area for innovative modern American cuisine. The building itself originally housed printing presses for The Home News, the local newspaper, and was carefully renovated to a mulitlevel space by the husband-and-wife team who own the restaurant. The Frog and the Peach has acted as a training ground for many talented New Jersey chefs, with its accent on clean flavors with global accents. Menus at the restaurant feature prix fixe meals, as well as more elaborate dinners. There is a spirited bar scene, and a wide range of interesting wine selections. The unusual name of the restaurant, The Frog and the Peach, comes from a Dudley Moore comedy routine.
