The Stanyan Park Hotel is another stunning Victorian hotel; this one is even listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Also offering a highly convenient location, it is a bit south of the Inn 1890 and located directly across the street from the park. In fact, many guest rooms offer a view of the park itself. On the opposite side of the lengthy park and a few blocks north sits the Seal Rock Inn. While this hotel may not be quite as ideally located, it more than makes up for that with its ocean views, as this inn sits right beside the waves. Additionally, it is much closer to the Lincoln Park course than the other hotels listed. While still within walking distance of the park, the Seal Rock Inn is also only a few blocks away from another famous San Francisco landmark, the Sutro Bathhouses. Guests of the hotel can enjoy wood-burning fireplaces, ocean views, free wi-fi, a heated swimming pool and free overnight parking--a rarity in San Francisco.
