Mt. Fuji Restaurant

The first thing you'll notice about Mt. Fuji Restaurant is that it's an impressive architectural feat. The imposing structure sits atop a large hill with panoramic views of the Ramapo Valley below. The approach by car is a long ascent up a private winding road. Once you've made it to the peak, you'll be greeted by zen-like Koi ponds and gently trickling waterfalls interspersed between huge Japanese sculptures. The hibachi cuisine is great, but with such a luxuriously exotic setting, it may be hard to keep your mind on the food or the cooking show the chef puts on while preparing it. A popular wedding venue, special events are welcome and murder mystery dinners add even more fun.
