Smithville Inn
The quaint Smithville Inn has benefited from its historic town setting and luxuriously well-kept grounds since 1787. Serving "sophisticated comfort food" for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, its menu includes soups made fresh daily, like New England clam chowder. Appetizers include calamari fritto, eggplant rollentini and salads. Sandwiches and seafood entrees such as a crab cake platter and various meat dishes are available. And the venue has plenty of space, with rooms suitable for groups of 10 to 200. Attire is dressy.
