Italian Restaurants in Myrtle Beach
The seductive qualities of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with its laid-back ambiance, attracts tourists from throughout the Unites States. With that, of course, comes a desire to sample the local cuisine. Among the many culinary delights available, the area's Italian restaurants stand alone for value and hospitality.
Dishes of local sea food, combined with traditional pizza and pasta dishes are to be expected. But many of the local eateries of this coastal getaway will also attract those looking for something more adventurous.

A Taste of Traditional

Opened in 1985, Ristorante Villa Romana has accumulated a loyal following, both from local residents and from out-of-state patrons. With a menu that includes traditional pasta dishes, the owners also delight in offering a diverse menu including sea food, chicken and veal-based dishes.

Not Just Your Average Chain Restaurant

Carrabbas Italian Restaurant and Grill on North Kings Highway is an exception to the rule that all chain restaurants serve dull, plastic-flavored food. Although you won't find haute cuisine, Carrabbas' menu serves to fulfill anyone's basic hankering for traditional Italian dishes.

Italian Cuisine in a Colonial Setting

Chianti South possess an old-school charm. Situated in a restored colonial home, the old oak trees that surround the restaurant lend a suitably southern feel to your time there. Among the many attractions of the menu, the seafood dishes consistently top out as favorites. The menu has an eclectic feel, with the focus on contemporary dishes that complement popular classics.

A Best Kept Secret

Romando's Italian Restaurant is renowned for its family atmosphere. Although more traditional than the other mentioned here, its seafood and pasta dishes come highly recommended. Considered as a "best kept secret" by local Myrtle Beach residents, it caters for those who are looking for a staff knowledgeable in the art of cooking Italian cuisine.
