Arizona Biltmore
The Arizona Biltmore, five miles north of city center, is a lavish course set in a resort known as "Jewel of the Desert." It has two 18-hole courses, dubbed the Links and the Adobe. The Adobe is the flatter of the two, featuring wide, open fairways and a series of cross bunkers. The Links has more rolling hills and ravines, plus it includes five lakes. Both courses are par-71. The resort also has a separate putting course, providing 18 easier practice holes that both beginners and advanced golfers can enjoy. Instruction is offered in half hour or hour blocks. If you have 16 or more people with you, you can schedule a private clinic.

Wildfire Golf Club
Located on the northernmost tip of the city, about 20 miles from city center, this club has two options for 18-hole championship golf. You can try the 7,145 yard Palmer Signature course, with wide fairways and little vegetation besides brush and cacti. It lets even the most beginner golfer stay in the game. Or, you can try the more challenging Faldo Championship course, with its 108 sand bunkers giving it a true desert feel and keeping even experienced golfers on their toes. Both courses are pretty flat; this is Arizona after all. The Palmer is par-72 and the Faldo is par-71.
