Grand Traverse Resort and Spa
Grand Traverse Resort is a full-service hotel located just miles west of downtown Traverse City on the east Traverse Bay. It offers 600 guest rooms and suites that all offer wireless Internet, cable TV and great views of the surrounding landscape. The hotel is set on 900 acres and features a conference center, indoor water park and 18-hole championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The conference center and water park are part of the hotel with guests enjoying free admission to the water park. The golf course is a link style par-72 layout that measures over 7,000 yards and is very challenging. It features tiered greens, very deep grass rough and many obstacles throughout the fairways that include mounds, moguls and deep pot bunkers. The course has a practice facility, pro shop and offers lessons.

Bayshore Resort
Bayshore Resort is located just minutes from downtown Traverse City directly on west Traverse Bay. It is a smaller hotel that is designed and decorated in the Victorian style throughout the rooms and common areas. They offer five room choices ranging from standard to suites that include in-room spas, fireplace and a refrigerator. Many of their rooms also have great views of the bay and beach that all guests have access to. Bayshore resort also has conference space available as well as wireless Internet and they offer golf packages throughout the season that the guest can customize to their liking. Packages include one night lodging and 18 holes with cart at your choice of fifteen local courses that are grouped according to difficulty and price level.

Great Wolf Lodge
Great Wolf Lodge is an all-suite family hotel that offers its guests a very large indoor water park and fun center. It is just a few minutes south of downtown Traverse City conveniently located off of U.S. Highway 31. Suites can accommodate up to 10 people including multiple bedrooms with most being themed with cabin décor. Guests enjoy free admission to the water park, which has many water slides and a kiddie play area designed for small children. Other amenities include conference space, restaurants and a gift shop. Guests will find many golfing opportunities in the surrounding area and the hotel staff is more than happy to help you book a round. Throughout the year Great Wolf will have golf packages that include greens fees and a cart to nearby courses, but they are usually not advertised and are only for a limited time.
