McCullough's Emerald Links
McCullough's is a links-style course built on a old landfill. It's a traditional looking links course with open views of the surrounding holes. The layout is fairly flat with generous sized fairways and greens. The biggest obstacles are the wind and the visually deceiving distances. Many golfers consider McCullough's to be the best value in Atlantic City Golf.

Twisted Dune
Just down the road from McCullough's Emerald Links sits Twisted Dune Golf Course. Another links style course, but very different from McCullough's. Twisted Dune has dramatic elevation changes, a rare thing in the very flat Atlantic County. Twisted Dune's layout is visually intimidating with rugged looking bunkers, mounding and waste areas. Over 100 bunkers will swallow up any wayward shot. Very playable and fun once you get used to the surroundings. It is rated one of the "Top 3 Public Courses in New Jersey" by GolfWeek Magazine.

Blue Heron Pines
Blue Heron Pines is a traditional parkland style course. This is target golf at it's best where narrow tree lined fairways provide natural hazards. The course won't overpower you, but most misdirected shots will result in a recovery shot back to safety. Blue Heron features three of the toughest finishing holes in golf. Number 16 is a 218-yard, par-three with an elevated green, number 17 is 450-yard, tight par-four and number 18 is 529-yard, par-five that requires three precise shots to find the green. Blue Heron Pines was ranked in the Top 50 Public Courses in the United States by Golf World Magazine and holds a four-star Golf Digest rating.

Atlantic City Country Club
Atlantic City Country Club is owned by Harrah's Resort and is one of America's oldest courses and dates back to 1897. The lush surroundings, waste areas and views of tidal marshes makes it feel like your golfing in the south. The conditions are always immaculate and the large undulating greens are the best in the area. The Atlantic City Country Club has hosted six USGA major championships. It was rated the number one Public Course in New Jersey by Golf Week Magazine. Golf Magazine rated this club in the "Top 100 courses you can play". The Atlantic City Country Club is one of the priciest in the area, so you may want to consider playing under twilight rates.
