Pet Friendly Hotels Near PNC Park in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is a city in southwestern Pennsylvania that was built around where the Allegheny and the Monongahela rivers join together to form the Ohio River. The city is the second largest in Pennsylvania and has three major professional sports teams, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, who play in major league baseball's National League. The Pirates' home is PNC Park, which has spectacular views of the Allegheny River and the Pittsburgh skyline. There are numerous hotels around the ballpark and a few allow pets. There also is an off-leash dog park at West Park, which is a few blocks north of PNC Park. There are six public golf courses in Pittsburgh and the closest to PNC Park is the Mt. Lebanon Golf Course, which is a nine-hole, par-35 course and is about five miles away.

Omni William Penn Hotel

The Omni William Penn Hotel allows pets that are less than 25 pounds for a $50 fee (as of 2009) and is about a mile from the ballpark. Each of the 596 rooms includes cable television, windows that open and a hair dryer. On-demand movies, Nintendo 64 video games, Web TV and Wi-Fi are all available for additional fees. The hotel also has a full-service spa, a beauty salon, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, a restaurant, safe-deposit boxes and a coffee shop. Self-parking, valet parking and an airport shuttle and taxi service are available for additional fees.

Hilton

The Hilton allows pets up to 75 pounds for a $75 fee (as of 2009) in a limited number of rooms and you will receive a welcome package that includes a travel tote, organic treats, waste bags and a bottle of cleaner for pet stains. The pet room includes a pet pillow, two pet bowls and a place mat. The Hilton is across the Allegheny River, just a half mile from the ballpark. Each of the 713 rooms includes air conditioning, cable television with pay-per-view and on-demand movies and video games, free Wi-Fi and a hair dryer. The hotel also has a fitness center, a business center, a restaurant and a pub.

Sheraton Station Square Hotel

The Sheraton Station Square Hotel allows one dog that is no more than 80 pounds and a dog bed is available. The hotel is one mile from PNC Park and has 396 rooms that include free Wi-Fi, cable television with on-demand movies and video games, air conditioning with individual controls and hair dryers. Suites and rooms with refrigerators are also available. The hotel also has an indoor pool, a hot tub, a steam room, a sauna, a sun deck, a fitness center, a restaurant, a bar and safe deposit boxes.
