The Kapalua Golf Club's Bay Course an 18-hole, par 72 course that has a rating of 72.1 and a slope of 136. The three tee locations offer distances of 5,676 yards from the shortest tees, 6,051 yards from the middle tees and 6,600 yards from the back tees. The course was designed by golfing legend Arnold Palmer and Francis Duane and has very few water hazards in play but several sand traps and trees. The Makena is a par 72, 18-hole course with a rating of 73.6 and a slope of 138. There are four tee locations with distances of 5,303 yards from the shortest tees, 6,151 yards from the resort tees, 6,567 yards from the championship tees and 6,924 yards from the tournament tees.
