Jean-Georges
Jean-Georges is a five-star restaurant inside a five-star hotel, the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Manhattan. The restaurant is named for its celebrated chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, winner of the James Beard Award and one of only five Michelin-starred chefs in New York City. Jean-Georges opened in 1997 and has been awarded the prestigious AAA five-diamond award every year since, along with three stars from Michelin and five stars from the Mobil Travel Guide. The New York Times awarded Jean-Georges four stars, one of only four such restaurants in New York.
Jean-Georges serves lunch and dinner Mondays through Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. The seasonal menus feature Chef Jean-George's signature classical French cuisine with American and Indochinese influences and ingredients. Select three dishes from a prix fixe menu of more than 30 items, or sample an assortment of dishes on the tasting menu. A wide array of decadent fruity and chocolaty deserts follows.
If you are planning a Manhattan vacation, want to see what goes on behind the scenes of a five-star restaurant and have $9,000 to spare, consider the Trump International Hotel's "Culinary Master Course Package." When available, this includes luxury hotel accommodations, a champagne dinner for two at Jean-Georges and a private two-hour cooking demonstration by the chef himself in the restaurant kitchen, among other perks.
