Attractions in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach has long been a top golf destination, but there is to more to the Grand Strand than hitting the links. There are hundreds of things to do when not on the course, but the problem is finding the best places to go.

Ripley's Aquarium

At Ripley's Aquarium, you'll see sharks floating lazily over customers' heads in a massive aquarium and a replica of the Amazon River. You'll have the opportunity to pet ray fish in shallow water. Open year-round, this aquarium at Broadway at the Beach is a great place to spend a few hours while awaiting a tee time.

Broadway at the Beach

Located on 350 acres, Broadway at the Beach mixes restaurants, shopping, kids' areas, nightclubs and hotels into a nonstop attraction for Myrtle Beach visitors. Broadway at the Beach is set up in a series of themed villages (New England, Caribbean, etc.) around an inland waterway. Thousands of people stroll the boardwalk-like walkways each evening. Look for special attractions, such as nightly fireworks shows fired from a boat made to look like a dragon, feeding the fish in the lagoon or the Dragon's Lair Fantasy Golf, which is a mini-golf course inside a castle that has a dragon who pops his head out a turret to blow smoke.
