Kiahuna Golf Club
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the Kianhuna Golf Club opened in 1984 and has been a fun track to play ever since. Located near the tourist community of Poipu on the sunny southern side of Kauai, the course is fairly wide open and offers distant views of the Pacific and the mountains. The course, which plays 6,925 from the tips, has plenty of sand, big greens and there are four sets of tees. The club offers discounts to non-residents who play multiple rounds.

Puakea Golf Course
Located near the airport and in Kauai's major business district, the Puakea Golf Course was rated the number seven best golf course in Hawaii by Golf Week in 2008. Designed by Robin Nelson, this affordable course opened in 1997 to rave reviews. It is generally well-maintained, features water on eight holes and has four tee boxes. The parkland course plays 6,954 yards from the tips and wind can be a factor.

Wailua Municipal Golf Course
A well-kept muni with some ocean views, the Wailua Municipal Golf Course is a traditional parkland layout, though it does have some tight fairways on inland holes. The front nine was originally built in the 1930s and the second nine was added in 1961. The course plays 6,991 yards from the tips and has three sets of tees. The course has hosted multiple USGA Amateur Public Links Championships and was selected by Travel + Leisure Golf Magazine's "100 Best Courses for $100 or Less" in 2002. The course offers a non resident play card that is good for five discounted rounds.
