Public Golf Courses in the London, Ontario Area

The East Park Gardens Golf Course in downtown London, Ontario, is just minutes from the river and two of the city's large scenic parks. The club offers guests a 40-tee driving range and 18 championship holes in the traditional Scottish links style. The course was opened in 1956 and was voted in 2008 as the top course in London by the city's main newspaper, the London Free Press. The course is a short, 4,400-yard, par-62 course that features 11 par 3s, six par 4s and one par 5.

The Fanshaw Golf and Country Club in London features a 36-hole layout just off of Clarke Road in the city. The club offers golfers two full 18-hole courses that were opened in 1958. Both courses are par 70s, with one featuring a 6,500-yard length and the other only 6,300 yards. Each course features long par 3s, many of them over 200 yards, and dramatic elevation changes that make for elevated tee boxes, bling approach shots and sloped greens.

The Forest City National Golf Course in London is located just minutes from the Fanshawe Golf and Country Club, and is also located just off of Clarke Road. The club features an 80-tee driving range and an 18-hole municipal course. The course itself was opened in 1992 and has hosted the Canadian Tour Ontario Open twice, as well as the Canadian PGA Championship and was ranked in the top 50 public courses in Canada by Golf Magazine. The course is a par 72 that has tee boxes that range from 6,800 yards to 5,100 yards.
