The capital of Colorado, Denver is also the largest, most populated and most famous city in the state. Located a mile above sea level in the Front Range area of the Rocky Mountains, the city provides a unique golfing experience from many other places in the country. Because the courses enjoy a higher elevation than other courses, golfers may find that their balls will travel slightly farther in the thinner air of the mountains.
