Flagstaff, Arizona Resorts
With courses in the Flagstaff area, including award-winning courses like Forest Highlands and Pine Canyon, this town south of the Grand Canyon offers amazing scenic beauty with the Coconino National Forest and the San Francisco Peaks surrounding the area. There are over 200 restaurants and a trip to the Grand Canyon is a mere 20-mile jaunt up the road. Flagstaff is a four-season playground and, as such, has several resorts that offer a variety of amenities to the golf traveler.

Wyndham Flagstaff Resort

Located on the eastern edge of town by Eden Hills Golf Course, the Wyndham Flagstaff Resort is not what you would expect. There is no central lodge but, instead, a selection of luxury vacation rentals with rates comparable to a hotel. They have both one and two bedroom townhouses with full kitchens, dining areas, living rooms and Jacuzzi tubs. Their two-bedroom unit comes with a loft with two single beds. Some of the property amenities include an outdoor pool, a miniature golf course, a nine-hole putt and chip course and a driving range. There's also a fitness center, horseshoe pits, a barbecue area and spa on-site.

Little America Hotel‎

While Little America calls their property in Flagstaff a hotel, if you've ever been to one, you'd know that that's an understatement. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool and sundeck in a garden setting, a gift shop, a fitness room with cardio equipment and weight machines and a business center. The 247 oversized luxury rooms all have flat-panel televisions, imported marble, floor-to-ceiling windows and down pillows on soft, comfortable beds. There are two restaurants located on the property, which is located right downtown for easy walking to area attractions.

Arizona Snowbowl‎

The Arizona Snowbowl is a ski resort with year-round resort lodging and activities. Located seven miles to the north and west of downtown, the Arizona Snowbowl‎ resort is small with only 25 rooms, some of which are in the lodge and others are in cabins. Each of the accommodations offer clean rooms with bath accessories, towels, cable televisions and alarm clocks. Some of the units have fireplaces and cabins have porches for enjoying the fresh mountain air. There's a restaurant on the premises which serves continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is no golf course at the base of the mountain but you might enjoy the Sky Ride, hiking trails and a round of disc golf.
