Woodland Hills Golf Course
The Woodlands Hills Golf Course is located just outside of downtown Des Moines, Iowa, adjacent to the Margo Frankel Woods State Park. The club itself was opened in 1927 and and designed by Warren Dickenson. The course features a short, 5,500-yard course from the longest tees, for a par-70, 18-hole layout. An easy slope rating of 101 is complimented by a nine-hole south course and small greens and well bunkered fairways.

Waveland Golf Course
The Waveland Golf Course in Des Moines, Iowa, is located on West University Avenue in a busy part of downtown. The course features 18 regulation holes on Blue grass fairways with a 6,400-yard distance from the back tees, and a 5,200-yard distance from the advance tees. An 18-hole, par-72 layout, the course was first opened in 1901, making it the oldest active course in the city. It was designed by Warren Dickinson and has for years been managed by different golf professionals.

Grand View Golf Course
The Grand View Golf Course in Des Moines is located on E. 29th St., adjacent to Fairmont Park and only minutes from Interstate 235. The course features a full driving range and a short par-70, 5,600-yard layout. A municipal course, Grand View was opened in 1902 and designed by Warren Dickinson. The course features wide fairways and numerous dog legs, as well as rolling fairways and sloped greens.
