Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach
These two water parks at Disney World are the perfect places to beat the heat after a day Osprey Ridge or Lake Buena Vista Golf Club. Blizzard Beach is constructed like a winter wonderland in the middle of Florida while Typhoon Lagoon will remind you of a tropical paradise threatened by a big storm. Test your mettle down huge water slides or just relax your way around the long lazy river. Typhoon Lagoon features one of the biggest wave pools in the world.

Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre
Sammy Duvall's is the place to find water activities of a more old-fashioned kind, though not necessarily less thrilling or extreme than those at the water parks. If you have ever wanted to parasail, this is the place to try it out. You also can rent jet skis, go water skiing, learn how to boogie board, and even make arrangements for an exciting tube trip. Sammy's is very convenient for those who have taken a turn at the Disney World golf courses.

Swan Boats at Lake Eola
Those wanting to add a little romance to their time on the links should head to Orlando's Lake Eola. This is the city's most well-known and oft-visited park. One of the most popular things to do here is the old-fashioned romance of a paddling around in a swan boat. This is a sweet way to end the day as the sun sets and draws down the shade of night over you and a loved one.
