The Environment
Situated in a tranquil setting near the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Greenway Parkway, you enter a world that feels far from the hustle and bustle of the Southwest's most famous resort city. Stand on the first tee of Kierland Golf Club and marvel at the sweeping vistas of Camelback Mountain, Mummy Mountain, Pinnacle Peak and the McDowells, punctuated by the expansive and dramatic beauty of the Arizona desert. Your immediate surroundings allow you to enjoy a park-like of hills and valleys traveresed by manicured fairways, focusing your thoughts on the challenging game ahead.

The Challenge
The host of the 1997 United States Golf Association Team Championship, this dramatic course is set apart from any other desert golf experience. Emerald green fairways are etched into golden-colored desert grasses, sweeping over constantly changing elevations to spacious bentgrass greens. Designed by Scott Miller, Kierland Golf Club features more than 300 bunkers, large, cool lakes, dry desert washes and stands of desert trees. You're playing Kierland, a very special golf experience in the Valley of the Sun.
