This is a comprehensive two-day, 10 hour program with complete full-swing training, and additional reinforcement on the short game. Two-Day Sharpen Your Short Game School
This School's agenda includes 10 hours of instruction. The Short Game School is an in-depth evaluation of your skills inside of 90 yards and how to make technique adjustments to lower your handicap. You will spend both days working with all your wedges. You will hit lob shots, pitches, chips and bunker shots. Short game swing fundamentals and appropriate shot selection are highlighted. Your putting stroke will be analyzed, and the mental approach along with greens management will be thoroughly discussed. Intermediate and advanced level golfers will be rewarded with stroke saving skills for every aspect of the short game. This program maintains a 3:1 Student:Teacher Ratio.

This school features 10 hours of instruction designed exclusively to help you hit the ball farther. Focusing on various drills that increase your club head speed through the four power sources of ball striking. Analyzing the issues of power, sequence and center clubface contact along with the proper angle of attack, with emphasis on driving and long irons. Two-Day "3 Scoring Clubs" School NEW!
We are excited to offer this new school in conjunction with Jim McLean's newly released book "The 3 Scoring Clubs." This two day school is ideal for someone looking to dramatically lower their scores. You will achieve this by focusing on the three most important clubs in your bag: the driver, wedge and putter. Good scoring depends on your ability to drive the ball accurately, hit on target wedge shots, and possess a dependable putting game.
School runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. each day (10 hours total) with a 3:1 Student/Teacher ratio.

Two-Day Commuter School**
This program is designed with 8 hours of instruction that includes an intense and comprehensive evaluation of your current swing technique. The Master Instructors will emphasize full swing fundamentals and suggest adjustments, as well as re-enforce the basics of the short game. Please note that this school will only include: Shirt, Cap, and Workbook. Students will also work on finding and perfecting their Powerlinesm and Safety Zonesm. This program maintains a 3:1 Student:Teacher Ratio. Saturday classes begin at 12pm and Sunday classes start at 8am, allowing Southern California residents the luxury of only one night of hotel and all of Sunday afternoon free.

Three-Day Player's School With Jim McLean
On every serious golfer's wish list, this special 18-hour school features Jim McLean as your primary instructor for 4 hours each day. Be prepared for three days of the finest golf instruction you will find anywhere. An incredibly low 2:1 student/teacher ratio guarantees you will receive highly personalized attention. Assisting Jim are his hand-picked and personally trained Master Instructors. Also included are two rounds of golf. Students will work on finding and perfecting their Powerlinesm and Safety Zonesm. This three day 14 hour program is designed exclusively to accommodate women beginners as well as skilled golfers. Our female Master instructors complement our Lead Master Instructors to provide the most efficient and competent teaching and coaching. We guarantee that we will build your confidence and improve your golf game. With the exception of the afternoon of the second day, your afternoons will be free to enjoy all the luxurious amenities of the La Quinta Resort and Club. This school features nine holes of on course instruction on the second day**. The school's emphasis will be to teach you not only to swing better but also to play the game better. Each morning you will spend two hours on the practice tee improving your full swing and sharpening your short game skills. Then after lunch, you will play 18 holes each day with your professional. The instructors who teach this school have the experience of playing at the highest professional level- true experts at both teaching and playing the game. Your time on the course will be an invaluable and unique learning experience.

By focusing on "playing the game", the school combines 8 hours of practice range training plus four 18 hole rounds of golf (20 hours) with Lead Master Instructors. Personal Professional for a Day
Spend 90-minutes on the lesson tee in the morning with your own golf professional. Enjoy a general video analysis of your swing. Your instructor will expertly guide your practice session with regards to that video evaluation. He or she will prepare your short game and fine tune your putting skills. Then, how about a break for lunch? Your instructor will join you offering game management wisdom and answer any golf related questions you may have. After lunch and a brief warm-up, learn and enjoy while you play 18 holes of golf on any one of The PGA WEST's three championship golf courses with your own private golf coach. 7 hours total, includes greens fees for non-members.

Design Your Own Golf School or Program
Jim McLean Golf Schools will customize a golf school for any group of four or more participants. You determine the number of hours per day and, or if you wish to include an instructional round of nine or eighteen holes of golf with our teaching professionals. We will customize our focus towards whatever aspect of the game of golf you are most interested in. Very special attention will be paid to your individual needs just as we do in all of our Golf Schools.
** All of our schools are subject to availability on a first-come first-served basis, with a minimum of two students required to fulfill a scheduled school date.
