Three main ingredients identify a world class golf school. At PGAWEST you can find no better venue at which to improve your golf game. A double tiered manicured 150 yard by 50 yard practice tee oriented north and south, facing the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains beckons you to practice all day long. Our patented "Superstation"sm with three hitting bays for indoor video analyzing using state of the art computer technology, ensures complete and detailed swing technique evaluations. Short game areas and multiple putting greens are adjacent to the practice tee. Need I mention the weather - spectacular in the fall, winter and spring. Our sister location, situated within walking distance of your accommodations at the La Quinta Resort & Club, is a complementing alternative.
The JMGS Master Instructors are the elite of their profession. Many of the teachers at PGA WEST have matriculated through the rigorous year long assistants apprentice program and have been with us for six or more years. Experienced former PGA Tour professionals who have worked with Jim over the years and are among the "Top 100" teachers in America also headline our instruction programs. All of our instructors are full-time teaching professionals. The weekly staff training sessions ensure that everyone is continually preparing themselves to expertly evaluate your golf swing and articulate the adjustments necessary for improvement. Greg Norman's resort course opened in December of 1999, which increased the total to 90 unparalleled holes of golf. The renowned Pete Dye Stadium Golf Course and The Jack Nicklaus Resort Course provide the challenges that will certainly identify a player's skill. The PGA Tour, as they have in the past, conducted their 2004 first stage regional qualifying event on the Greg Norman course and the final stage of qualifying for the PGA Tour on the Stadium and Nicklaus Courses.
