We have programs that focus on your long game, chipping and pitching, or improving your putting performance. We can also customize an instructional program just for you. Group Academies With a High Level of Individual Instruction
Designed to develop you as a complete golfer. Our 4:1 student/ teacher ratio and skill-level groupings provide an ideal learning atmosphere and allow an emphasis on individual instruction.

Video/computer analysis, allows before and after instruction swing comparison and you receive a personalized videotape with voice-over comments and graphics for you to take home as an on-going reference. We use the DVPUTT system to analyze your putting stroke to help improve your technique and fit you to the best putter. Our balanced approach to game improvement not only focuses on consistency in swing mechanics, but also on improving your scoring by addressing all aspects of the game: short game (including putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play), specialty shots, course management, fitness performance, sports psychology, and custom-fit equipment using the industry’s latest technology. You’ll come away with a comprehensive plan for game improvement tailored to your needs and based on proven fundamentals.

After fine-tuning your game at the Academy's training facility, you may treat yourself to a complimentary 18-hole round of golf on the Perry Dye designed golf course at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club.

Lana Ortega's Just For Women Academies
McGetrick Golf Academy Director of Instruction and Golf For Women Magazine Top 50 Teacher Lana Ortega and her staff of LPGA professionals want to share their expertise in working with women of all abilities in the Lana Ortega signature schools, Just For Women. Lana Ortega’s Just For Women golf programs are designed for women of all skill levels and deliver instruction in a relaxed, non-threatening environment.

One-On-One Golf Academies
Our One-On-One Golf Academy offers 5 hours of private one-on-one instruction (8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.). All aspects of the game are covered, and the program is individually tailored to meet your specific golfing goals. Includes full swing instruction with video/computer analysis, as well as an on-course 9-hole playing lesson. You’ll come away with a specific plan for improvement. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Each student will receive an instruction manual and a take-home videotape with instructor comments.

Cost with Lana Ortega - $650/Adult; $550/Juniors; $500/two or three students

Cost with Staff Instructor - $550/Adult; $450/Juniors; $400/two or three students

Player Development Program
The Player Development Program is designed for the serious golfer who wants to improve his or her golf game. This program will be individually tailored based on an extensive evaluation of your golf game and your golfing goals. We’ll consider your current playing ability, goals and time commitment and design a personalized training program to help you reach your golfing potential. We will monitor your performance throughout the season, and will cover all areas of the game including full swing, short game, on-course strategy, and how to practice. Each school participant receives a $200 gift certificate for Srixon products.

You will receive 25 (45-minute) sessions of instruction, and some of that time can be used for playing lessons.

Cost with Lana Ortega - $2,800/Adult; $2,500/Juniors

Cost with Staff Instructor - $2,300/Adult; $2,000/Juniors

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced golfer, having golf clubs and balls that fit your individual physical attributes and abilities is instrumental in playing your best. Our staff can give you a perfect fit utilizing today’s most advanced fitting technologies, including the Distance Caddy, launch monitor, video/computer analysis, and laser putting systems.

Custom Club Fitting - $90 Per Hour
