David Glenz - New Jersey

Located in the beautiful Kittatinny Mountains of Sussex County, New Jersey, Crystal Springs Golf & Spa Resort brings the best public golf facilities in New Jersey together to form the New York Met area's premier golf destination. Golfers can choose from five outstanding golf courses, all within a 5- mile radius.

Ballyowen Golf Club is situated on 250 sprawling acres atop a plateau and is surrounded by rolling farmland and craggy knolls. This course is the only one of its kind in New Jersey. Rated "Best Public Golf Course in the State" by Jersey Golfer, Ballyowen has received outstanding critical acclaim since opening in June 1998. Virtually treeless with plush green fairways, Ballyowen has a very Celtic feel. Ballyowen has been masterfully sculpted out of the local landscape by renowned golf course architect, Roger Rulewich. Rulewich, an understudy of Robert Trent Jones for 34 years, created a links-style layout that provides golfers with a kaleidoscopic array of verdant fairways, pristine white bunkering and wheat-yellow native rough grasses. The commitment to quality extends all the way from golf course conditioning to the level of service provided by the staff.

Black Bear Golf Club is rapidly becoming recognized as the premier outing facility in the Metropolitan area, hosting hundreds of events annually. The 6,673-yard layout captures the scenic beauty of the Great Gorge area with its panoramic vistas, sweeping fairways and rugged woodlands. The golf course is designed for enjoyment and offers a fair challenge to beginner and experts alike. The10,000 square foot clubhouse is no less impressive. Black Bear is the Headquarters of The David Glenz Golf Academy.

Since opening in 1991, Crystal Springs Golf Club has been widely recognized as New Jersey's most challenging and dramatic golf course. In fact, Jersey Golfer named Crystal Springs, New Jersey's #1 Public Golf Course. The Robert von Hagge layout contains design features found nowhere else in the world. The incredible blend of rugged mountain terrain, towering grass mounds and breathtaking views creates an impression that will last a lifetime.

The Spa Golf Club's Robert Trent Jones-designed executive layout is one of the best of its kind in the Northeast. The 2,350-yard layout is a masterful ensemble of sporty par threes and fours that accentuate the dramatic landscape.

The newest addition to the Resort, Wild Turkey Golf Club, is another Roger Rulewich design destined to be an award-winner. Like his critically acclaimed Ballyowen, Wild Turkey takes advantage of the natural landscape to offer a wide variety of playing terrain....but that is where the similarity ends. Wild Turkey is a par 71, 7100-yard parkland course with a distinctly different feel than the wide expanse, links-style Ballyowen. Wild Turkey takes the golfer through wooded areas, natural lakes and quarries, making dramatic elevation changes from tee to green.

Crystal Springs Golf & Spa Resort also offers luxurious overnight condominium accommodations, including access to the Resort's multi-million dollar sport and spa complex with seven indoor and outdoor tropical pools, tennis, basketball, and racquetball courts, a 1,500 square foot fitness center, steam rooms, saunas and salon services. Golf & Stay Packages are available.

Additional Resort amenities and services include gourmet restaurants, indoor and outdoor banquet venues, conference rooms, corporate picnic facilities, the best practice ranges in the region, and multi-course memberships. The Resort's newest and largest clubhouse opens Spring 2002 with 53,000 square feet of elegant dining and banquet space, a full-service pro shop, three lavish outdoor pools with waterfalls and fountains, and breathtaking panoramic views.

From hosting corporate golf outings to ensuring that every golfer is warmly welcomed at the first tee, Crystal Springs golf & Spa Resort strives to make every guest's experience as memorable as a "hole-in-one."
