Chuck Cook

Introduction

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Chuck Cook GolfLink.com website!

I have been blessed to have studied under the finest teaching professionals in the game and am eager to pass along the information to the rest of the golfing community. I have been fortunate to have trained under several Golf Digest Professionals, including Bob Toski, Jim Flick, Peter Kostis, Davis Love Jr., Paul Runyan and Jack Lumpkin. In addition, I have taught an array of workshops for the PGA of America with the likes of David Leadbetter, Dr. Gary Wiren, Ed Oldfield, Bill Strausbaugh, Kent Cayce and many others. As a teacher, I have had the unique opportunity to employ Dave Pelz, Fred Griffin, Dr. Ralph Mann, Dr. Richard Coop, Al Vermeil (Strength Coach for the Chicago Bulls) and Phil Rogers. I had the good fortune of working with teaching great Harvey Penick during the last 15 years of his life and have studied the book entitled “The Golfing Machine”. I received my GSEB degree and am now a member of that proud fraternity, thanks to the teaching of both Ben Doyle and Mac O’Grady.

It is because of this pedigree that I have had the opportunity to assist my students in winning Four U.S. Opens in the 1990’s. In 1996, I was selected the 1996 PGA of America teacher of the year.

I would like for you to reach your dreams too. I hope that this website leads you to this end.

Good Golfing!

Putting Eye Line And Aim When you set up to putt pay attention to what your head and eyes do when they check the target, players who line their putts up right or left will have their head and eyes move towards their left shoulder or up to the sky rather than directly down the target line
Jackie Burke Putting Set Up Universally known as one of the greates putters ever, Jackie Burke had a simple putting set up that held the putter up so that he could focus on the putter face and kept his arms close to his body for control
