How to Plan a Disneyland Vacation on a Budget
By Bobby Ingram
Disneyland is an iconic family vacation destination. In addition to having the various family-themed amusement parks for your whole family to enjoy, there is an excellent selection of golf destinations as well. Disneyland is an expensive destination, however. By following a few steps, though, you can get the most out of your money.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Visit during a non-peak season, when lines will be shorter and costs lower. These seasons are January and February, mid-August and September and the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Plan your trip well in advance. The closer you get to the date of the vacation, the more expensive it will be to book.
Stay at one of Disney's less-expensive resorts, such as the Pop Century Resort. Search online for prices and reviews of the multitude of resorts in the Disney area to find the best deal for yourself.
Utilize Disney's expansive free transportation services, as these will enable you to get around without having to spend money on a rental car.
Check Disney's official website for deals, as there are promotions being run year-round that can save you money on your trip.
Purchase a family dining plan if traveling with a large group. This can greatly reduce food costs for your visit.
