How to Lace Nike Air Shoes
Nike Air golf shoes come in several different varieties, including the Air Zoom, the Air Tour and the Air Max. The word Air in the name denotes the Air-Sole, which is meant to be lightweight and breathable. Before lacing your Nike Air shoes, you need to think about whether you wish to lace your shoes for the best comfort, the tightest fit or to make yourself stand out.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step 1
Lace for comfort using the traditional criss-cross method. Take your lace and place one end through each of the bottom eyelet holes from underneath. Cross the ends over one another and feed them through the next set of eyelets from underneath. Continue until you've fed one end of the lace through each of the eyelets. Tie a bow at the top of the shoe.
Step 2
First step in the sawtooth method

Lace for tightness using the sawtooth method. Place one end of the lace through each bottom eyelet, feeding it through from the above this time. Pull the right-hand end through the eyelet directly above it. Pull it directly across to the left-hand eyelet and feed it through from above. See image.
Step 3
Second step in the sawtooth method

Pull the left-hand lace up to the next available right-hand hole, entering the eyelet from underneath. Proceed across to the next available left-hand hole, as in Step 2. Repeat, as in the diagram, until the shoes are fully laced. Tie a bow at the top of the shoe.
Step 4
Lace for fashion with the V lacing method. Take your lace and place one end through each of the bottom eyelet holes from underneath, as in Step 1. Lace the shoes by feeding the left end of the lace through the left-hand eyelets only, coming up from underneath each eyelet each time. Do the same for the right side. Loop the laces around each other where they meet in the middle of the shoe, as shown in the image. Each one will look like a sideways vee at the intersection. Tie a bow at the top of the shoe.

Tips & Warnings

Make your Nike Air shoes even more distinctive by purchasing brightly colored laces and switching them with the original laces. It's a good way for a professional golfer to create a signature look. For the best fit, lace your Nike Air shoes while you are wearing them instead of before you put them on.
