How to Buy Custom Watermelon Nike Delta Force Shoes

If you really want to stand out on the golf course, you can do so by wearing watermelon Nike Delta Force shoes. These shoes have an all-over custom design. There is a pink "seed" dotted pattern at the heel, toe box and side that is reminiscent of a watermelon's interior and a green striped design on the rest of the shoe that looks like a watermelon's skin. Nike does not offer these shoes in its catalog. The only way to get them is to order directly from Mike Perry, the artist who customizes the shoes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step 1

Navigate to Mike Perry's website (see Resources) and click on the "Artwork" link. Click on the menu item that says "Custom Sneakers." Take a look at the watermelon Delta Forces to ensure these are the shoes you want. Note that there are also images of canvas Vans on this page with a very similar watermelon design.

Step 2

Decide what size of shoe you'd like to buy. If you're not sure which size to get, go to a shoe store and try on a pair of Delta Forces. Since these shoes are custom made just for you upon order, you cannot return them for a refund if they don't fit properly.

Step 3

Send an email to Mike Perry at mikeperry4567@yahoo.com noting that you would like a pair of watermelon Nike Delta Forces and mentioning both your gender and your shoe size. He will reply to your email with a rendering of what the shoes will look like and a price quote. Respond back with your payment information and wait for your shoes to come in the mail.

The Nike Delta Force is a classic leather casual shoe. While it is not made specifically for golf, it should hold up decently well on the course. These are not considered golf cleats. If you have additional questions, you can phone Mike Perry at 484-832-6346. You can order custom shoes from Nike as well, although not in the watermelon design. To do so, go to Nike's website (see Resources) and click on the link for "NikeiD." You can choose your own colors, width and cushioning. You can also choose to have a short message printed on the back of your shoes.
