How to Plan a Las Vegas Trip
By Bobby Ingram
It's said that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. However, to ensure that you have any stories to keep in Vegas, it's important to properly plan your Vegas vacation ahead of time. Doing so will ensure that your wallet doesn't take a bigger hit than expected, and that you get to enjoy all of your nights in town.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Set a budget for the entire weekend, including travel, lodging, dining and recreation in advance. It is easy to lose yourself in the fun of Vegas, and setting a spending limit will ensure that you can look back on your vacation fondly.
Plan your trip in advance. Have an idea of how you will be spending your nights in Vegas before going so you don't run out of time to see everything you wish to.
Inquire about package deals through the casino you will be staying at. Often you can greatly reduce costs by booking your flight and room as a package deal.
Visit multiple casinos while you are in town. The many themed casinos provide for their own unique experience, and if you visit only one or two you will likely regret it when you leave.
Take part in the varied nightlife of Las Vegas. There are numerous bars and clubs available at all hours of the night.
Check out some shows while you are in town. In addition to gambling, Las Vegas is famous for its shows, such as performances of Cirque du Soleil, famous musicians and magicians.
