How to Attend the Cadillac Classic Series Golf Tour
By Kay Miranda
Cadillac is a major sponsor of the U.S. Pro Golf Tour through its series of events at country clubs in the Cadillac Classic Series Golf Tour. Operated by Greens Worldwide Incorporated, it is designed as a step-up tour to find and develop new talent and provide a platform for them to move up to the PGA. Tournaments, clinics and pro-am events are the foundation of the Cadillac Classic Series Tour. Becoming a spectator at the event only requires smart planning. Playing in an event is more difficult.

Obtain tour information and dates from the U.S. Pro Golf Tour. You can do this by calling the Florida headquarters at (904) 285-3700, or visiting USProGolfTour.com.
Determine the tour dates and locations that you can make according to your personal schedule.
Contact the country club hosting the event you are interested in. Make sure you do this early to ensure getting the tickets you want. Pay with a credit card online and await your tickets. Some ticket purchases may be held at "Will Call" for you to pick up when you arrive at the event.
Play local and regional events and demonstrate your capabilities to play under pressure.
Obtain an application from the U.S. Pro Golf Tour's headquarters in Florida. Once again, the number is (904) 285-3700.
Review the Rules and Regulations for players at the U.S. Pro Golf Tour's website at USProGolfTour.com. Also, review the ranking tournaments for players on this site and select an event to play in.
Play well! This should go without saying, but your performance will be scrutinized by the selection committee, which has a predetermined number of memberships to award annually.
Fill out your application thoroughly and return it to the address designated on the form. Be sure to include all career highlights to help you stand out among the many applicants.
Attend events while you await approval. You may be allowed to participate as a non-member if there are not enough members in the event. Develop relationships with the event director so you have access to the person who can tell you if an event needs to be filled.
