Bell Bay is located near the village of
Baddeck
on Cape Breton Island. Designed by Thomas McBroom, it was named Best New
Canadian Golf Course in 1998 by Golf Digest. Watch out for the
last 4 holes - a true challenge to golfers of all calibres.
Fox Harb'r has a unique design that combines Scottish links
and traditional parkland golf. Surrounded by the beauty of Nova
Scotia's Northumberland Strait, the greens pass by wetlands,
forests, deep lakes and a wildlife sanctuary. You'll never forget
the spectacular views of the sea offered by this course.
Graham Cooke designed the Glen Arbour course around three
sparkling freshwater lakes. The course is a registrant of the
Audubon Society and is therefore designed with careful consideration
of the environment. This beautiful course is accessible to players
of all levels with at least five tee options per hole.
Highland Links has been ranked 57th in the world and #1 in
Canada by Golf magazine. Stanley Thompson designed this Scottish
links-style course in 1939 in an area flanked by both the Cape
Breton Highland Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. According to
Golf Magazine, the course features "strategic natural holes and
creativity around the greens".
Bill Robinson created the Scottish styling of
Northumberland Links.
Uniquely located on the Northumberland Strait, players
can see 3 of the Atlantic Provinces and glimpse a view of the
Atlantic Ocean from 16 of the 18 holes. Multiple tees make this
course accessible to players of all levels.
Osprey Ridge
was nominated for Golf Digest's "Best New Course
in Canada" award in 1999. Combining Scottish links and traditional
parkland golf, this Graham Cooke design boasts stunning panoramas
and white silica sand.
The Pines by Stanley Thompson is rated by Golf Ranking
magazine as a "Gold Medal" golf resort. Home to a number of
tournaments over the years, this course has a number of striking
natural features: it is surrounded by an evergreen forest and is
designed around a winding brook. Damming the brook resulted in two
renowned par-3 holes, including the signature second hole.
