Ping Tour Wedge - Golf Equipment Review

  • Ping Tour Wedge

The widely popular PING wedges, complete with the company's Custom Tuning Port, are somewhat altered for PING's latest short-game creation, the Tour wedge. Featuring a slightly smaller head size as well as the option of a ferrule (for the more traditional look), the PING Tour wedges retain the Tour-level capabilities of their predecessors. Less offset and a small cavity also are featured, which aid in the club's forgiveness and playability and all-around sharp looks. Variable bounce angles for each lost facilitate shotmaking ability from a variety of lies while enhanced spin is preserved by carefully machined U-grooves.

    Clubface:  Same
    Clubhead:  Stainless steel
    Clubs:  52, 54 GW; 56, 58 SW; 60 LW (available LH)
    Design:  Cast blade
    Shaft(s):  PING ZZ65 (S) and CS Lite (S, R) steel; PING TFC100 graphite (S, R, A, L)
    Size:  Standard
    Year:  2005
  • Bottom Line:  The High-performance expected from the fine line of PING wedges in a more compact, more traditional look.

A Good Grip Every golfers grip should be unique but there are several fundamentals that must be followed in order to hit the ball straight
Parallel Club Drill Swing two clubs parallel to each other back and forth trying to keep the clubs from clanging together, this works your timing as well as coordinates your body with your arms
Ball Position for Juniors Ball position changes with each club; use the time you spread your legs under your shoulders during your set up routine to position the ball correctly
