Lovett Wedges Wedge - Golf Equipment Review

  • Lovett Wedges Wedge

Is the Lovett really a wedge? After a few attempts with this odd-looking club, you may reply "yes!" The Lovett club features a unique design that places more of the leading edge in the front of the hosel. According to Lovett, a forward leading edge not only allows you to see the ball better, it helps the ball to remain in contact with the face for higher shots. The smile-shaped leading edge and rounded sole work like the hull of a boat, moving grass and sand so the clubhead can proceed though impact unimpeded.

  • Bottom Line:  This club is very easy to swing and it does its job nicely.

Flip and Hook Cure Typically hooks are caused by coming from the inside, getting your hands stuck and flipping the club to get to impact. Cure this by focusing on swinging your arms through to your left side and turning your body through to the finish.
Golf Swing Plane Learn how to identify whether your swing plane is correct
Thin and Topped Shots Thin/Topped shots are not caused by picking your head up but rather lifting your entire body, concentrate on keeping the same posture throughout the swing
