F2 Wedges Wedge - Golf Equipment Review

  • F2 Wedges Wedge

If you have difficulty with the bunker blast, the F2 wedges just may help. The F2s are different from standard models in that the hosel sits more toward the rear of the sole, placing the leading edge and a significant portion of the face in front of the hosel. This "Face Foward" design facilitates a flatter arc through the sand and the ability to lost the ball from the bunker. We tired it, and the F2 surely makes simple work of sandy lies. The Face Forward design also prevents sand or long grass from grabbing the hosel and altering the position of the clubface.

    Clubface:  Same
    Clubhead:  Stainless steel
Clubs:  52/6 GW; 56/NA SW; 60/NA LW (available LH)
    Design:  Cast Blade
    Shaft(s):  F2 steel (wedge)
    Size:  Oversized
    Year:  2005
  • Bottom Line:  For those who fear bunkers, the F2 is worthy for a try.

Swing Map: Understanding the Set Up Set up, a Basic Part of the Swing Map, affects your entire swing
Fairway Bunker Shots Don't over complicate this shot, just focus on a slightly wider stance and dig in slightly for balance, then take a three quarter swing since a full swing will cause you to lose your balance on the sand surface
