Eidolon V-SOLE Wedge - Golf Equipment Review

  • Eidolon V-SOLE Wedge

Eidolon Golf looks to become a serious player in the wedge market with a trio of innovative designs. Each sole is broken up into two bounce sections: The leading edge portion of the sole features very high bounce while the sole near the trailing edge features minimal bounce. This bounce angle structure allows the club to be opened or closed easily to play a wide variety of shots without the club digging into or bouncing off the turf. Each groove is individually CNC milled after initially mailing the face flat (a revolutionary extra step) for high levels of spin.

    Clubface:  Same
    Clubhead:  Carbon steel
    Clubs:  52/18 (3) GW; 56/30 (7) SW; 60/25 (6) LW

    Year:  2005
  • Bottom Line:  The most impressive new wedge we've seen in a long time.
