Bridgestone J33 Forged Wedge - Golf Equipment Review

  • Bridgestone J33 Forged Wedge

This trio highly crafted short-game tools are worthy of extra attention. Mild carbon-steel construction provides the soft feel most good players crave from a wedge, as well as a more controllable trajectory, facilitated in this case by a longer hosel. The extended hosel effectively raises each club's center of gravity, producing lower-trajectory shots, but with maximum spin. Machine-milled U-grooves and a double-cut sole for improved playability from a variety of lies round out an excellent list of amenities.

  • Bottom Line:  The J33 is a sophisticated scoring tool that should please all players.
