this course is nice and fun to play. I am not an avid golfer but do like to play. I have recently moved so this was my first round on this course. If it wasn't for my GPS aps I would not have been able to navigate this course at all. there is no maps, no pictures at the tee boxes to show the direction of this hole, and very minimal signs to show where your next hole is. again, my GPS ap was the only way I navigated through this course. If you have not played this course before, take someone with you that has.
I play this course frequently. As with most north Texas courses, the greens can get really baked in the summer. Currently, however,(7/11/2011) greens, faiways, and tee boxes are all in excellant condition. Numbers 3 and 8 are very challenging par threes. The course is obviously not set in a beautiful mountainous area, but it is not ugly! Numbers 5, 14, 17, and 18 are very pretty holes. The Pro shop does not stock many clubs but has some apparal. The snack bar food is very good.
