Mount Pleasant Country Club

I played this course s a kid 40 years ago, and now I'm playing it with my kids. It has come a long way in 40 years. The new Clubhouse is spacious and comfortable, and the staff is always very polite and helpful.

Very simple layout, with no traps, and the creek only comes into play on two holes. You do have to contend with trees on most holes, but the fairways are wide with generally simple lies.

The course is only 9 holes, so you have to play two rounds to get your 18, but they do offer 9 hole rates, which is nice if you don't feel like playing a full 18. Most players can easily walk this course, or you can ride it in either your own or a rented cart. The fees are very reasonable, which makes this course a great value. This is a great course for Beginner to Intermediate players.
