My cousin Bob and I drove down from the Binghamton, NY area to play the course on 10/25/10. It was money well spent. This is easily one of the best courses in the N.Y./P.A. area. It's mountain golf at it's best. The blue course is riddled with narrow, sloping fairways and blind tee shots. Everywhere you look there is undulation and elevation. The greens were in great shape and are your typical Donald Ross fare (small-medium sized). The bunkers were in good, playable condition with medium grain sand. The rough was fair but punitive. The abundance of leaves made it difficult to find balls that caromed off the fairway, but then, we should have hit it straighter. The carts were gas powered and in good shape. The staff was very friendly (especially the folks in the restaurant). Alcohol and food prices are quite reasonable and we found lunch to be REALLY tasty. The price here can be a bit steep, but it's well worth the occasional splurge. We'll be back.....
