I am 44 years old and am an average golfer but have played a lot of different courses here and there over the years and I have never seen a course in worse condition than this one. The greens were dead and bare with only minimal patches of grass. The fairways were mostly clover and patches of dirt and literally gravel in some areas. (See pics) It made the whole round a joke. I would only recommend this course to a bachelor party full of guys that are gonna drink so much during the round that no one will care about anything especially the score. The worst part is they have to audacity to charge $40 green fees. I’m not sure where this money goes but it’s definitely not to the upkeep of the course.

The location of this course is gorgeous with heavy woods bordering most fairways and Broken Bow Lake in view from several holes. However, the condition of the course itself is pathetic. Most fairways are covered with clover and dandelions with very little grass and many, many bald spots. We saw only one green without large dead spots on it. Most putts have no chance of staying on line because you'll always be putting through bare patches. The tee boxes were grass-free and muddy. The cart path pavement is broken and uneven, and the carts themselves were muddy - looked like they hadn't been hosed down in weeks. The scorecard shows bunkers on every hole but we did not see a single one - I believe they have all grown in with "grass". The scenery is beautiful and the layout and hole diversity is terrific, with lots of elevation changes, side-hill lies, and all the things that make mountain golf fun. If you're not picky about course conditions, you'll like it. If you think golf should be played on grass, you'll be disappointed.
