This is golf course one could enjoy for a weekly league and it would have gotten a better review had it been presented as such. Some nice landscaping and flora are thrown in to try to sell it as a resort course, but it comes up short. It was presented as a nice "warm-up" before you take on the Gailes or Blackshire at Lakewood Shores Resort, but I would have rather played the Gailes twice and paid extra. It is friendly to walkers. Fairways and roughs were well maintained. No yardage markers on the sprinkler heads. The greens were blotchy. I was told this was due to the harsh winter, but the Gailes course adjacent to it had no problems. If I come to the resort again, I would omit this from the package if possible.
