Horrible greens. Called first and was told a couple of greens were a little rough. All 18 were unputtable
Please come try our course! We are under new ownership with a new superintendent and golf professional. The 2013 season was a wonderful season, with the course in pristine condition thanks to the superintendent and his crew! With all new white sand in our bunkers and small perfect greens, you will find a challenge at our beautiful mountain resort just outside of McCall, Id. We hosted the IGA Senior State Amateur Championships, the Diamondline Classic 2 Man Ball and the RC Painting & Sons Shamble/Scramble all to rave reviews!! Skip this course until present ownership has been replaced; we played the course on 7/12/10 and it is in the worst condition since it's inception back in the 1980's. Present ownership (Hopkins Financial) with held the decision to open the course in 2010 until very late spring and the outsourced golf course management group didnt have time to properly prepare the course for play; fairway's, greens, and the 10' rough away from each side of the fairway hasnt been cut/maintained. Also, present pro shop employees are college students with questionable knowledge about the course itself and customer relations. If you are in the McCall, Idaho area play the McCall public course (13-miles away)...it is in impecible condition and course employees/management are customer friendly.
