Yesterday my 4 friends and I had a tee time for 7:09am. When we paid they told us that they no longer let 5some play, stating that they play too slow . Now this is the golf course that will allow 20 handicaps play from the blues. They have no Marshall on the course to speed things up. Now I understand that the purest of golf say you must walk the course to truly enjoy the game. But on Saturday morning you have 4 walkers, average age 62, with 18 handicaps ( they were playing from the whites, thank god ). After nine holes they were two, yes two, holes behind, literaly not a person in site in front of them. Oh yea did I mention we, the five of us, are a 11 or lower. Let me just say if you want to speed things up, really speed things up, pay attention to what's going on around you. Limit you walkers or let them go off after 10 . Do not just stand behind a counter and bark orders...it makes you look uninformed and bullish. So my advice to the serious group of golfers, find another course to play.
