I have golfed there for the last time. Besides the course's inadequacies, the Starter, Ranger or Club Pro or whatever he calls himself was arrogant, rude and certainly not customer friendly. I have never felt more unwelcome at a course that needs revenue than I felt this last outing. On a course that has always welcomed the "average Joe golfer", the new management follows people around scorning them when they make a course etiquette "faux pas". I will however recommend to them a good turf management company, to help them remove the crab grass that is prevalent throughout the course. I am saddened to close this chapter of my local golfing establishment.

Head pro Greg Miller and his assistant, Bill Allen, should feel good every night after a days work. They throughly complement their patrons for showing up for a game of golf. There were many families, ladies and groups of guys enjoying the holday weekend. The course had an old friendly style. The course is not a signature course, but for the price it's what your average blue collar or young family is looking for in today's economy. The golf industry should take some lessons from this head pro. Golf needs people out their playing. My signature hole on the course is #8, a short par 3 over water. Number 9 is a long dogleg par 5 which is not going to be reached in two very often. A very friendly atmosphere.

My home course. Good value, nice middle of the road course on which to hone your skills, especially for beginners. It has the potential to be much nicer if more capital was put into it's upkeep and improvement.
