When I played it back in the mid-'80's, you needed to know someone who belonged to play this ancient and renowned gem, which in itself is saying something. Though very different than any other golf experience you will ever have, it offers old world charm, spartan hospitality, only due to the fact there is no one present anywhere near the clubhouse or on the course, which was a plus. We literally had the Club to ourselves this particular day and we enjoyed course from its well maintained fairways to the greens. It is probably a place you will never return, so enjoy the experience, though I would love to come back with my son someday and let him take a peek into a by gone era.
