Course in great shape, greens could be better but considering amount of play they are good. Great place to practice your game, and fivesomes means you won't have to wait to long as a walk on. During week, mostly retired people who have time to practice. Not a place for true beginner

Had such a great time, I had zero expectations and Penmar exceeded them. lol. I played a weekday so take this how you will. It was relaxing, easy, no brain process necessary. The golfers I played with however told me stories of fist fights and shouting and aggression.
The two some ahead of us yeld at us for speaking to loud while we were on the green while they were shanking there drives on the adjacent Tee box. Not family freindly, lots of scrappy mean old men, but who cares, great little course, easy as pie and a great way to build confidenece.

Fivesome is the standard here. Fast play only. Nice course. Plenty of attitude available from staff.
