The tale of 2 courses. The front 9 is much older, with mature growth, established greens and rolling terrain. Shots out of the fairway can get into trouble in a big hurry. The back 9 is newer, with much smaller growth. Fairways are wide open and the terrain is not as challenging as the front 9. Still, a good course for the value.

This is a tale of two nines. The front nine, which is over 70 years old, is great. It has lots of character and some very nice hole designs, along with being very scenic. The back nine, which was built in 1984, is not overly exciting but still okay for some fun golf. The price is very reasonable and the staff is very pleasant. I left with an overall good impression of Irish Hills and am sure I’ll be back before too long.
