Nice lay-out with plenty of sand-traps to test your accuracy. My first time playing and I really like this course. I love course with long par 3's.

Best bang for your buck in Long Beach area. I wouldn't go as far as others as to call it a long course it's just right for my game. Keeps me hitting mid irons in on par 4s however the 5s were fairly short, reaching in 2 was a reasonable possibility. Greens were fairly well kept but fairly slow and the tee boxes were surprisingly well kept.

Good course for the moneyI've always enjoyed playing this course. From my experience it actually plays a bit easier than you'd expect from a course that's over 7,000 yards from the tips. The fairways are very generous, the rough is just enough to think about but not ridiculous, and the greens are usually in very good shape. The range is mats only as I recall (someone correct me if necessary) but the practice green and chipping areas are worth spending some time with.
