Glen Oak Golf Course

This course would benefit from different owners. It is a beautiful track, but try and have a beer or glass of wine with friends, and you need to travel to a local restaraunt. The bar is always closed, and the only food available is the halfway house. If you tee off before 9AM your out of luck as halfway house does not open until after 9AM. Oh, the starter does sell donuts behind the counter. Tee times are being taken at 8:00 AM, but your not allowed on the course until around 10:00 AM, due to frost. There is always frost until 10am in this area of the country, at this time of year. So if you have to be at work in the afternoon, you will have to build in a couple extra hours. For what this course offers, there are many other tracks in the area, offering a much better value for your money. It's a shame as I am sure Robert Trent Jones, had other visions for Glen Oaks

Worth the drive from Toronto.Great value. Huge greens, fast and well maintained as is the rest of the course.
