Augusta it is not, but it is a great place to learn or play for super cheap. The layout is quite nice. My favorite hole is the down hill, left to right side-hill, dogleg right 6th hole. great view of Dryden Lake and surrounds. The challenge of golf is in your head, not on the golf course.
This isn't terrible at all. There are some very pretty holes, the cost is AMAZING, and it is very family friendly. It's not world class golf, but when you can walk it for $1/hole, then maybe you should judge it based on what it is.
