I was very dissapointed with this golf course. Though there were some qualities that are positive, the majority of things I have to say are negative. I''''m not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, maybe this course has had better days, but it has gone downhill in recent years.First - the good - The layout is very interesting. Surrounds two lakes in a "country club" community. Each cart comes with its own gps unit (more on that later). It''''s not too crowded. The price after 2pm is reasonable based on the quality you think the course has to offer. The website is very nice. Now the bad - The course is in terrible, terrible condition. The fairways are barely mowed and there is goose poo fully covering at least 6 greens. The tee boxes are an absolute joke. Only about half of the gps units in the carts actually work. They don''''t clean out the carts before they give them to you making it entirely possible to find beer cans from someone else''''s round littering many carts. The website is very misleading and it makes the course look alot nicer than it will ever be.Basically, high point does have potential to be a great course but it seems like they don''''t have the money to take it there. Calling this a country club disgraces the word. The homes around the golf course are trailers. I was very disappointed after visiting the website to find the course to be in the condition it is in. I don''''t think I would recommend this course to anyone, it''''s not worth $35 even after 2pm and certainly not worth the $65 at peak hours, maybe $25 at most. There are better courses for the money. 2 stars purely for the potential

terribly maintained. There was goose crap all over the greens that was there for days. Redemming factors. Cheap. GPS. Nice Layout. Oh it is also in kind of an old community where you are overlooking pretty lousy houses.

High Point Golf CourseOne of the best kept secrets! Great course at a reasonable price. New management is regularly updating & improving the course. Friendly people. Plenty of water & interesting dog legs make you think, yet the long ball hitter can show his stuff. Rarely crowded, but even on busy days, they layout offers seclusion to play your own game. The combination of GPS & the new yardage markers help newcomers.
